Is there an option to delete your account/profile?

Hi tech spot staff. I'm a new member of the site although I've been navigating it for a couple of years now. Upon signing up, curiosity had me searching through all the options to find out if you can delete your own account and profile. Is that possible?

No, there is no option to delete your own account. An administrator would have to do it. You would need to place a request in this forum (Site Feedback and Suggestions).

No thanks Julio. The reason for my inquiry was that since profile names are unchangeable upon creation, if I ever decide to post with my real name then I would have to create a new account.

Jimbo, you can simply request a name change in this forum. If the name is available, an admin will usually accommodate you.

I agree with the statement that TS is awesome and everything but my personal opinion and likely that of TS, is that the community here is a huge part of what makes this site what it is.
