On the subject of email accounts - some pointers:
All the global operators such as hotmail, google mail and so on have immense resources running to stop spam and most of the time it works. It also wipes off perfectly good mails just because of a single specific word. Some cannot run on system based account handlers and you have to use a web based account handler - OK for some if but you have no ADSL it can be very slow. No off-line email preparation unless you cut and paste.
Others will depend where you live - in UK there are loads of little ones who provide hosting and email support but tend not to be too hot with the support services such as spam filtering.
If you mean email account handlers such as outlook express - plese say so as this is another story!
