ISDN Modem restarts computer when online

Hi,

I recently installed an ISDN Modem. When I'm online my computer restarts. It doesn't always happen but most of the time it will. I installed the INF Upadate Utility by Intel for the 865 family chipset but that doesn't seem to correct the problem. I have the most recent driver for the ISDN modem posted by the manufacturer.

In order to get the blue screen, I disabled auto restart. The error is as follows:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x0000000C, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xF47CE955)

This is what I get from Event Viewer once my computer has restarted and the error is posted:

The previous modem I had was for a PSTN connection. US Robotics 56K Faxmodem USB. I unistalled it from the control panel, but have the drivers been removed from the system. How can I do this? Could it be the problem?

I've also come in contact with the manufacturer, but I'm still waiting on that.
Any suggestions other than reinstalling Windows and hence the modem.

Thank you,
James

your 1003 events are due to bad drivers or a corrupted application.

update the firmware of the ISDN Modem and any router,
as well as your NIC or wireless adaptor.
