Have you ever had the urge to play Counter-Strike 1.6 on your Android device? Probably not, but if you ever do feel the need to move from your huge monitor to a much smaller screen for some multiplayer action, now you can.
The full game – maps, servers, everything – is playable on the mobile operating system. It uses a device’s touchscreen controls, which, as you can imagine, isn’t the best system for a first-person shooter. But you could always attach a couple of peripherals to your mobile/tablet to make things easier.
This version of the popular shooter isn’t an official release from developer Valve, but is the work of just one person - Alibek Omarov.

If you want to try out Omarov’s Counter-Strike 1.6, you’ll need to have the game in your Steam library to copy some necessary files for it to run on Android devices. Hopefully, the fact that you need to own the original game will stop Valve from trying to shut the project down.
Head over to Github to download the necessary APKs to get the game running, then follow these steps:
1) Install the APK. Install APK with omp postfix if you have multi-core device and noomp if you have single-core device or have problems with omp version.
2) Install the latest Xash3D Android from https://github.com/SDLash3D/xash3d-android-project/releases/latest.
3) Copy cstrike and valve folders from your Steam CS1.6 installation to xash folder on SDCard.
4) Run CS16Client.
