  1. Alright guys I'm sure you've realized that I have been less active on the forums than before. K. So my question is what's the deal with PCIe 2.0? Also can a PCIe 2.0 video card work in a PCIe 1.x motherboard.

Yes a PCI-e 2.0 card will work on a PCI-e 1.0 slot. How it will affect performance remains to be seen.

I googled it already since it is very new technology articles were/are limited. By the way you didn't add anything to the thread so there was no true purpose of posting.

All right, to make up with that.

The Difference on the bandwidth of PCI-E 1.X and 2.0. It is virtually pointless at this moment until few more months.

Read some quotes about nVIDIA chipset support on PCIE 2.0

And I'm tired to help out. I have been working 10 hour straight at Siemen, updating racks...

And HOW i get this info... I simple use these letters. It has too many to list, but enough to satisfy you.

Next time I encourage you to widen your search little more.
