Java plugin

  1. i need a java plugin for my firefox plugin so i can play runescape at my local library(they are not smart enough to get it them selfs) but i cant download there and i dont want to download it at my house cuz i dont know if it will mess up my computer so can someone tell me if it is a good idea to download the java plugin and will it mess my java up on my computer?

    I'm assuming you have Firefox portable installed on a flash drive.
    You can install any java (or any other update) on your portable and you'll be fine.
    I have updated mine and never had a problem.

    well will the java plugin take java off of my computer cuz last time i downloaded java on to my flash drive it took it off of my computer so will the java plugin for firefox take java or even mess java up on my computer?

    It shouldn't affect your PC, I haven't had any trouble with mine.

    ok i just want to make sure cuz i had to use a reboot disk last time i put java on my flash drive
