Jedi knight 2 jedi outcast installation problems

    Right,

    I went to install Jedi knight 2, Jedi outcast on my machine, it froze on about 6%, so i tried again and now everytime i click install it says do i want to uninstall the game? well i have got rid of what trace i can find of the game, but other then that this is puzzling me!

    Please Help!

    When you say that you have checked everywhere Have you checked the registry? I would think that would confuse things a bit if it was still there. Post Back

    yeah there is like 1 file in the registery, when i delete it, it goes, then when i go and check again its come back, ill post what its called if you need it later, just not at home atm

    Are you sure you there are no other registry values?

    have you installed any other games from lucasarts? i know sometimes there are registry conflicts that won't allow a registry component to be deleted when in use by another program.

    try uninstalling everything from the cd's uninstall .exe

    then, try mounting the CD image, and installing from there.
