Jedi KNight 2 patch with Openal support !!!

    Lucas Arts has released a new patch for Jedi Knight 2. Here are some of the fixes and improvements included with the 1.03 patch:

    Provide EAX® 3.0 and OpenAL support. To enable these options, you will need to enable 3D Sound in the Sound Setup menu. NOTE: At the time of release of this update, EAX 3.0 is only supported on the Creative Labs Inc. SoundBlaster® Audigy(TM) and Extigy(TM) sound cards.

    Dunno why they say that, Extigy only does EAX2 in Games.
    It is worth noting that this adds EAX to multiplayer though, which couldn't be done in the initil retail.

    BTW Thomas...the Gateway drivers can be had here too...


    Gateway Audigy drivers

    I wanna try them, but those other Gateway drivers I download screwed my OS big time.:mad:

    Then again, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
