Jpeg edited files w/wo layers via photoshop2

Edited jpeg images some w/wo layers & saved as tiff files.Then burned images to slideshow with M.S. DVD Maker. DVD slideshow disc showed my edited tiff files
and looks good;however,when insert this slideshow disc
Into my DVD/VHS unit played to the TV the images are
shown without the edits made.
Thoughts on this? Do you need to
get some kind of adapter to connect
Laptop directly to TV?
Movies are edited b4 production.
Why do they show flawlessly when
you play a DVD.

Display of dvd disk using the PC can be VERY different than getting them displayed on a TV using an HDMI connection.

you need a tool like Windows DVD Maker or MovieMaker to write the VOD formats for the TV
