For those of you that have TechSpot bookmarked (although set as homepage would be nicer indeed) I have just added a 'favicon' to TechSpot site-wide, so anytime you bookmark one of TS pages or browse through them using Opera, Mozilla, and other browsers that actually show a website icon (IE is somewhat buggy in this aspect I believe) will see a very nice 16x16 TS icon, those of you with your bookmarks already set will have to erase the old and add to your favorites again.

I don't see the icon. I've got quite a few other sites that show up, but TechSpot doesn't come up yet. I must have one of those buggy IE's.

Try bookmarking, then erasing, then bookmark again... it will show up then. Otherwise you could clear your history and cache and see if it appears.

I did just what you said, Julio, and it still didn't work. I've resaved all the others that have the icon, like The Inquirer, Driver Heaven, Fox News, Reuters, and they all show the icons. Don't know why it doesn't show up.

You should try using Opera as its miles better than IE. Once you've tried it you won't go back :=).

I use a beta version of Mozilla Firebird and it works very fine for me, i didn't even have to delete the bookmark, very nice icon Julio !

Btw, i'm still waiting to hear from you about the proggies :)

mozilla firebird.....
anyone know how to keep it from remembering the addresses you typed in the address bar? I hate typing something and it trying to auto-complete it.

Yeah, IE is buggy about that kind of stuff. It SHOULD show up if you bookmark it again. If you clear your Internet cache, history etc... It might even show up in the address bar the next time you visit. LoL.

I've had some problems getting it to work on some sites I've worked on before too.

I hate to break it to you, but your mom already knows you look at porn.

Also Julio, I noticed another change on the boards... Our names/avatar's are centered ;)

My suggestion - Center the "Joined *date*" and "Location:".

Looks good in mozilla; shows up in the URL, and page tabs too. That's nice, it makes the page tab show up more distinctly. Deosn't work in my IE6...that's OK, I don't use it anyway.

Rick, he lives on a campus, so I kinda guess there are no moms over there and pretty everyone looks at pr0n :D

Looks good Julio :)

Too bad Netscape doesn't show it...
But then again, I only use Opera on this site anyways :)

I have to admit, I used to use Opera, and didn't take advantage of all the features it offers. I downloaded it again and have been using it for four or five days, and I don't think I'll go back to IE. It seems to load a lot faster and if nothing else the mouse gestures make it worth using exclusively.
