Just checking cpu and mobo compatabilty

  1. i may have just confused myself, maybe not.

    i have this cpu: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3517104)

    and i have this mobo: Evga nForce 590 SLI AM2
    (http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=122-M2-NF59-TR)

    here is the confusing part that got me confused...
    Supports 64-bit AMD Athlon64, Athlon64 X2, Athlon64 FX, & Sempron 940-pin socket AM2 processors

    the 940-pin part is confusing me, arnt all the chips listed above 940 pin? or is just the sempron 940?

    As long as the motherboard has an AM2 cpu socket, your ok
