Using other threads posted on this forum, I've removed a bunch of malware and spyware that was on my computer including the ishost issearch and others like this. I was hoping that someone could review my HJT log to check that everything is running smoothly now. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is still infected.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Ok, I ran through all the stuff and I have the error logs ready. NIS 2007 didn't detect anything at all although the other programs did. Here are the logfiles :-D

Download the Pocket Killbox programme from HERE. Extract it but don`t run it yet.

Make sure you have the Ccleaner programme as per this thread HERE.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

Boot into safe mode, under your normal user name(NOT THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT). See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.> http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

Run HJT with no other programmes open(except notepad). Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - (no file)

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

O16 - DPF: {288C5F13-7E52-4ADA-A32E-F5BF9D125F99} - http://www.miniclip.com/puzzlepirates/miniclipGameLoader.dll

Click on the fix checked button.

Close HJT.

Run Ccleaner as per the instructions in the above link.

Run the killbox.exe file. When it loads type the full path to the file you would like to delete in the field and check the delete file on reboot button. press the Delete File button (looks like a red circle with a white X). It will prompt you to reboot, select no until you have finished inputting the files you want to delete, only then allow it to reboot and hopefully your files will now be deleted. If your computer doesn`t automatically restart, restart it manually.

These are the filepaths you need to enter into killbox.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtuuur.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\SpOrder.dll

Once your system has rebooted, turn system restore back on and rehide your protected OS files.

Post a fresh AVG Antispyware log as well as a fresh HJT log.

Regards Howard :)

I followed the instructions you posted. After deleting everything posted in HJT and CCleaner, I tried running KillBox and entering the paths of the files posted. The issue was that KillBox told me that no file was found. I made sure that all files were being shown and tried it again, and still got the same message. Here are my AVG Log and HJT Log, I hope they help out..

Thanks a bunch for all of your help.

Your HJT log is clean.

Don`t worry about the killbox error, it sometimes does that. The nasty files are gone.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.
