I can't install os with my newly upgraded sata hard disk, I can't find it in my bios setup.. ahhh I really don't know what to do..

How about giving us an overview of your system ? The motherboard model/version could prove especially helpful.

    Just some basics:

Is Sata enabled in bios - it has its own setting
Is boot priority set CDrom then Hdd
Is the drive power and data secure

    Good point Didou

Try System Specs, these can be used to update your profile

    1. post in the correct forum next time. Storage and networking.

    2. It won't be in your BIOS.

    3. When windows asks you for your additional drivers, put your driver disc with the sata drivers in your floppy drive. Windows will ask you to press f6 or something like that.

once windows sees the drive, you can format it as you wish.
