kaspersky update - help needed

Can somebody tell me how to use this to update my kaspersky antivirus

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I must admit, I`m at a loss to explain what you`re supposed to do with the above download as it doesn`t contain any instructions.

However, doesn`t your Kaspersky antivirus programme have a manual update button or something. that will enable you to download the current definition files direct from Kaspersky Labs?

Yes , and I am currently updating from kaspersky labs
But I was just curious about it
It might come handy after formatting the system !!!

I do see your point. All I can suggest is you open you Kaaspersky programme folder and see if you can locate the folder that has the updates in it. Other than that, maybe it would be prudent to ask on the Kaspersky forums.
