I've got a third party laptop that I've been using and the other day I went to turn it on, and the keyboard just plain stopped working. As such I can't enter bios to edit anything. I've read some places that clearing the cmos might work, but I've also read that this is fairly difficult on a laptop. Anyone know anything that might help me?
When you turn on the computer, the numlock/capslock/scrolllock lights should blink once. The keys that usually get stuck (and don't produce beeps when the keyboard buffer overflows) are Ctrl, Alt and Shift.
