KeyBoard Problem

Hello, first post... i just really need to know whats going on.. im not a computer expert but i know my keyboards stuffed!!!

I've been using this "new" keyboard for about 6 months and it was working fine until tonight when i was talking to a friend on msn it just shut up and soo i kept trying to talk with them and it kept stuffing up....
Its a compaq ps2 keyboard btw

So restarted and still cldnt type anything...turned off and plugged in my OLD keyboard and its working fine... but evrytime i plug in my new keyboard it stuffs up! ARG i just wanna know whats going on!! please help me

Look I dont want to state the obvious but the keyboard is obviously faulty, it does happen, they are mass produced lumps of plastic put together with all the care and grace of a hippo doing ballet...

hahah thats true! ah i figered out one of the pins was bent! sometimes i feel a bit dumb
