Laptop Barebone?

  1. I'm thinking about getting a laptop, and more specifically building one. Has anyone done this before? Also I don't really know a good place to get the barebone, though the other parts should be relatively easy. Any comments or tips?

Why would you want to do this? You would just end up with a low-quality no-brand laptop - the same you could get from any retail shop for $800.

"Barebone" notebook means that you have to put in the processor, RAM, hard drive and the wireless adapter. Hardly any "building"..
