I currently have a toshiba 2.0 gh intel celeron laptop. I was wondering what would be involved in changing that to atleast a 2.0 p3 but prefferable a p4 .

You would have to go for the P4, and are you sure you the P4 cpu will fit in your motherbord?

You say you have a celeron 2ghz, personally I don't see why to upgrade to a higher or other brand of cpu.

Your cpu is more then enough for a laptop. It might be wiser to upgrade other parts like memory or hard drive.

    Greets Crazy,

    Hope this helped

Adding to that, upgrading a laptop CPU is typically extremely expensive. What would you need to upgrade that for anyways? A moblie device with a 2ghz celeron should be blazing fast enough... unless you are using it for something out of the ordinary?

and p3's only go up to 1.4 ghz
