Can someone tell me, I have a tower unit with a Videomate T750 PCI TV card, and I use the software that came with it (Compro 3) to view both analog and digital reception.
I also have a laptop, and I want to have remote access to the TV software over my network so I can watch TV on the laptop.
Is this possible, and if so what software do I need, and where do I get instructions on how to use it?
The tower is running XP Home SP2 and is hard wired to a router (WRG614 v7). The laptop is wireless networked to the same router, and is running Vista Business.
Thank you in advance.

Well this is where the big problem is. You might be able to SHARE the software by installing it on your laptop, then create a shared drive to your PC, but usually with TV Tuners, you will need it plugged in DIRECTLY. The only other option would be to setup a Remote Desktop Connection, but it would/might run a little choppy.

Yeah.. Live video is not something that would run smoothly over wireless. Wired ethernet may work though.
