Latitude cpi harddrive/password

I recently purchased a Dell Latitude CPi R400GT thru a garage sale. The previous owner didn't give me any info, passwords, etc. I have been able to disable the admin password, but there is still a hard-drive password that I can't disable/erase and when I do get into the BIOS, it says there is no Primary Hard Drive. Is this because of needing the password? Or because something's wrong w/ the HD? How can I fix these problems so that I may use my laptop? My email is ilovegaypornspam@yahoo.com for any help anyone could give me.

You probably got yourself a stolen laptop.

The hard drive should be recognised by the BIOS even when it is password protected, so yeah, it is probably dead (or even not there at all).

Mind you, it is extremely stupid to throw around your e-mail address like this! Do you like spam? And also, we annot respond to you in private, because the very point of these forums is having a public source of information.
