Forgive asking a silly question, but does the machine have a CD drive?

    Do you have anny suggestions

OK so you need to get yourself an external CD drive. Dell sell them to match.
The system is shipped with Vista so why would you need to install - if to repair the installation then you need to follow the procedure built into the machine. Check the manual for details.

    Hi Jello
I think you need some hands on professional help - there are still some Dell stores in the US so I suggest you take the laptop in there and they will advise you exactly what to do - including supply an external CD drive.
You can also use the Dell website - all you have to do is prove ownership and they will help you over the phone.
