Hey all-
I just purchased a X2gen 19" WS LCD Monitor, which is connected to my PC via DVI, on my Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB PCI-E. When booting, my monitor gives the "Out of Range" message during POST and XP Pro loading.

I have an MSI K9n Neo Mobo, AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+, 2GB SuperTalent PC6400 DDR2. Any ideas as to what this might be? My BIOS is set to use PCI-E first for video. My card is dual-DVI and I was previously using a converter for my old 19" CRT.

Help!

Possibly failed video card, or monitor system board, but more likely incorrect settings for video out put from the computer to the monitor.
It is possible the monitor is not capable of the high resolution you are sending, or only runs at one resolution setting, and yours in Display settings is different. Cut it backt o 800 x 600 or 1040 x 768 to test for a change in that report on your screen
