today, when after i restarting my PC, the resolution of my LCD was changed, suppose my used resolution is 1440 by 900, and is the highest resolution, but now it changed to 1600 by 900 above, the highest resolution is 2048 by 1503 which out of range if change to this resolution.
then i installed the latest driver of video, 946GZ Express chipset family.
But the it still no fixed, now i've to use 1280 by 768 resolution. This would be troublesome for me during on my test execution.
Pls, anyone got any solution

The resolutions available depend on the monitor too in addition to the video controller's abilities. (Re)install the LCD drivers?

And the monitor indicated in display properties is the one that you have connected and is using the driver you installed?

What if you go to advanced display settings and see the "list all modes" menu in the adapter tab?

PS
It would help if you mentioned the operating system, exact video controller and the monitor you are using.
