League of legends on Chromebook?

I know League of legends is an executable and a Chromebook does not allow executable's in its OS. The thing I was thinking was installing Ubuntu on it and then downloading League but I was wondering can a Chromebook run it well?

This is a comment I found. I'm not sure what your full specs are though.
Any netbooks capable of running LoL?
Any netbook with an intel atom dual core and ION GPU is capable of running any new games, but those netbooks can cost a nice fund. I have been able to run LoL on a Asus 1005PE dual core atom 2GB with sound off at 30 FPS, with sound on 5FPS.
Just buy a real computer or laptop
I found it surprising how turning sound on, killed 80% frame rate.

.................I play League, how the ....Interesting, now im curious how sound plays a role in the games systems.

I don't think it will run well on a chrome book, Atom processors (im assuming it has an atom based on what Cliffordcooley said, I have not personally looked at a chromebook yet) cannot do well on it in general and in a huge team fight, your going to drop lots of frames. I have a Microsoft Surface pro with an i5 and intel HD 4000 which I tried league on and it on low can barely keep in the range of 45-60.
