LG DVD Burner Issues

  1. Hello,
I'm recently running into an issue with my old LG DVD Buner 4x, installed it myself 3+ years ago. Current system is a Acer 2.6 Celeron, 1.25 GB DDR 333 RAM.
I always use DVD Shrink to create a local ISO image of the DVD, then burn it using Roxio.
Recently I've been able to read the DVD and create the image, but at 2% in the burning process I get an error has occured during recording.
I've uninstalled, and re-installed the drive and drivers, but it doesn't make a difference. Last thing burned was DVD containing pictures around 2 months ago.
I can do some hardware support but nothing too complicated.
    Any suggestions?

Thank You. I was thinking about doing that. It is getting outdated compared to the newer models.

    Your welcome Vanessa22NL,

make sure you check the old burners jumper(s) and set the new burners jumper(s) the same as the old burners
