Just booted up and I have this thin line going down my screen, about half the screen length. Did my monitor just go bust? I do have warranty though.

Don't know if its dying or not, but thats probably not a good sign. Maybe try running different resolutions and refresh rates. Then possibly trying different drivers for your video card and check and see if there is a specific driver for your monitor.

Hmm, started up this morning and it's gone, strange...

Could still possibly be a problem...If your warranty is running out, I'd go and ask them about it, because that is probably a sign of near death.

    How old is the monitor?

Maybe your sub is too close to it ;) ;)

Monitor is just over a few months old, an NEC Multisync 95. Can't be my sub. ;)

Shouldn't be dying this early then. It was something else.

    Like your sub ;) ;)

It may be nothing, I wouldn't be too concerned unless it happens again. Veh - its not too early - my last one died in less than 3 weeks :) and it wasn't even on for about a week of that time.

Well that's just you, and apparently you have very bad luck with monitors :giddy:
