Links don't work right

Recently every time I click on a link or anything that has to do with opening the web, the web doesnt open. Instead I get a Microsoft Word 2007 which in fact I dont have the key for or sth I dont really know bout those things.So how can I fix this?

Open Control Panel, Click Internet Options, Click Programs Tab
lower right, Click Set Programs
second line, Associate a File Type
SCROLL watching left column for .htm & .html
select one at a time and click the button at upper right Change Program
find your browser of choice and double click on it

Links should now open via your browser
