    WINE runs only some things. The speed and graphics are godawful and the thing will probably crash very soon.. :blackeye:

    Ah right then.

    Do games run better on Linux? FPS wise? I doubt it since they don't have all the optimized drivers and stuff like that that Windows does. Such a pity :(

    From my experience linux game support is horrid.


    Same hardware, same game, different builds - And the windows port gets better quality with higher frame rates and less buggy play. Very apparent in Unreal Tournament and ZSNES.

    some games do play well under linux, such as Quake III and Unreal Tournament 2003. But you need to install drivers with 3d acceleration support. nvidia is good.
