Linux Install Bugs

    I have a problem. I was installed Linux SUSE 9.3 on my laptop and when it tried to run the initial boot it stopped and said /sh/tty job control turned off. I tried reinstalling it and it said the same thing. Is there anyway around this or antway to fix this problem.
