  1. hai all

    i wants to install a Linux Proxyserver to make the internet sharing in my firm,
    how can i configure that, here we used a PSTN connection, using one 56 kbps external modem to telephone line, i have to configure the connection and get make connection to other windows machiens working together in the LAN, so plz Explain step by step how to do this


    plz help, in present condition i used one 2000 server as netserver and use one software proxy to share that connection, i wants to substitute this with Linux...

    Assuming you already have set up the internet connection on the server..

    To share the internet connection you have to set up IP masquerading. If you need proxying too, set up Squid.

    Doing either of these is not trivial and explaining it would need a full-length guide which I am not goin g to write. You can search the web for those keywords for some guides and howtos.

    Somebady can you help me

    i have problem how to make browsing offline with Squid 2.6,
    price for bandwidth in Indonesia is very expensive. Can you help me to make browsing Oflline.
    Some sources of data-where I find where I did not find. therefore I try to convey this make all of us.
    Please include how to write command. I say Thank you very much.
