Hey. Firstly, sorry, I'm sure you read this kind of thing very often. All the same I'd really appreciate some help. I have 2x256mb of PC2700 DDRram running on my ASUS a7n8x2.0 deluxe with an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ processor and I cannot seem to get my memory running at over 166mhz. Surely I ought to be able to get 333 out of this ram? CPU-Z describes the max bandwidth of my ram as "PC2700 (166mhz)", but doesn't PC2700 ram run at up to 333mhz? Again, I'd really appreciate any help.

PC2700 or DDR333 has a total speed of 333Mhz. However it runs at 166Mhz and is accessed twice per clock cycle for a total of 333Mhz approximately.

166 Mhz is the correct speed.
