Lock up & dim light

    Right i will try my best to explain this. I have a spare computer sitting around that we just use for the internet now recently it developed a fault. It would freeze/lockup randomly while doing anything (surfing, gaming etc) also i have noticed now that when i shut down, the front power light does not go off it stays on Dim. Any ideas what this is a sign of ??

    It is an old computer but i just wondered if someone may have an idea why the light stays on.

    PSU has been replaced with a brand new spare one (so it's nothing to do with that)

    Its an AMD 2200 and it's old. if you need specs then i can check them out but thought someone might know about the power light staying on at the front? Could it be mobo?
