Hi, My currrent motherboard from the looks of it has non-latching L hookups and recently today the stupid thing came loose somehow when I was using the computer and now my HD may have to be replaced. The last two days it randomly started with "disk boot failure" from the SATA connector very slightly coming loose which I reseated every time and swapped cables to no avail. Depending on what WD says about my SMART disk findings, if I have to again replace the HD (loose power connector last time) I'm thinking about getting a new MB that has better SATA hookups so maybe they lock in more since its the MB side that is the problem. Are there motherboards that are sold that have those kind of internal connection and would they work for this kind of problem? Thanks.
