Hi,
With 2 'home pc's and now a media PC, shared storage is starting to become a real issue.
Also with hdd prices tumbling down I have been thinking of buying a cheap SAN w/o hdd (would buy the hdd separately).
Being for home use, I cant afford to spend too much but I could stretch to £400 max (about US$800) w/o the harddrives.
I have been looking at Thecus N4100 NAS Server 4 Bay/HDD which sells for £330
Anyone got any other suggestions or comments about the Thecus?
Ideally it should support SATA2, 4-5 bays, with its own Webserver/ftp server
Cheers
Jon
