Looking for a CPU, already know the rest of the parts

I originally intended to have an E8400, but it sold out and doesn't seem to be coming back any time soon, so I'm looking for something else. I have the rest of the parts if that's necessary, but the most basic info I have is that I'm looking for an Intel processor and it's going to be used for games.

I've noticed the E6750 is considerably less. What are the advantages of an E6850, aside from that it's 3.0ghz?

They're identical in specifications apart from the core clock frequency.
