Looking for some help

Hello there,

I have a bit of an annoying problem at the moment. I have a message that keeps popping up in my tray about a system alert. When I click it it takes me to a site about a program called anti-vermin.

At one point trojan-spy.win32@mx was also mentioned in my tray.

Any idea's on how to get rid of it would be much appreciated. I've ran and removed a trojan using AVG but the message remains.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go HERE and follow the instructions for removing the Antivermins rogue antispyware programme.

Then, go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.
