Will a low profile video card work in a Dell Dimension 3000?

It would work it you A. bend the attachment tab at the top so it doesn't hit the case when you install it, or B. take the lo profile metal bracket off, and use a metal bracket off an old card instead, if you can find one with similar mounts, which is easier said than done. Choice A will work, but the card may be loose as it will have no screw holding it in.

aside from physical considerations, you have to realize that your dell is an oem build and cannot accept MOST types of video cards, ESPECIALLY high end ones.
