I always wondered if there was an easier way of installing all of my junk, setting up my folders, putting everything where it needs to be in windows whenever i would reimage. I recently thought this was impossible until someone mentioned somthing about making a batch file that would do all this for you. I am very curious and am wondering if anyone knows where i should start and what i should do next to make that vision a reality so to say. Thanks a bunch.

If by "reimaged" you mean re-installing Xp with all you Programs ,User settings etc. in place . Then No, a Batch file is not sophisticated enuf to do all of that .

The best would be for you to make an image of your perfect setup , Ghost True Image can do this . Then just reload it whenever. You would have to keep up to date back ups of ongoing Data as yu go along .

Also you can use a setup installer for Windows that can load quite a bit of extra personal stuff and apps but they are alot of work . Try nlite
