I am trying to transfer to a new Maxtor hardrive using Maxblast and having some problems. Diamondmax Plus 9 120GB/133 ATA

I downloaded Maxblast 3.6 Floppy Boot disk version and created a boot disk. The disk loads ok and opens the Maxblast screen for a second and fails with the following text message:
    Command or filename not recognized.
    Command or filename not recognized.
    Command or filename not recognized.

    Batch files nested too deeply.

I then downloaded the Maxblast 3.6 for Windows. The software installs without incident, however, when I open the program it goes into a critical error.

"MaxBlast 3 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

    AppName: maxblast3.exe AppVer: 1.0.1.0 ModName: odidev.dll
    ModVer: 1.0.1.1 Offset: 00001444

    Please HELP!

What is it you're trying to do with Maxblast ? Transfer partitions from one drive to another ?

Copying my old hard drive to the new one (the Maxtor).

Maxblast came highly recommended for this but I'm having lots of trouble getting the software to work.

Get the UltimateBootCD which comes with HDClone (Free Edition) that allows you to copy your partitions over to the new disk.
