Maybe faulty screen?

This is a very strange issue for me...
need 2 know your opinion!

Brand new laptop DELL XPS m1530 with LCD LG 1440/900.
So , when i open the lid and Vista starts it always catch my eyes.
Always when i touch harder the kbd or move something on my desk - on the upper area on the screen theres's a tiny place which trembles (the effect is like touching water in glass). What do u think? Is this a serious problem? Do i have to return it? Or just share yout thoughts...

If it is under warrenty then yes you should return it, bc if you keep it and the screen breaks after the warrenty is up the bill will probably be almost as the laptop its self
