Maybe video card problem with Aspire 7738g

i have an acer aspire 7738g, when i bought it there weren't any problems, after 5 months some games that i was playing start lagging. playing normal for 1-2mins and then 5mins lag. and continues all the time. i made format turn my laptop from vista to windows7 but again the same problem and in low graphics games, no virus for sure already checked, anyone can help me?

Between the time you bought the laptop and when the problems started have you installed any additional software that is running in the background like anti virus software. Anything that is running when you play a game will leave less available memory for the game to use.

When you installed windows 7 did you update all the drivers for the new OS. This link has a facility to check compatability of the PC with windows 7, run it and see if there are any problems listed.

Click on Start and then right click on Computer and select properties, this will show the available memory, see if that is enough to meet the minimum requirements of the games you are using.

This could also be an overheating problem, download this free software and set it to display the CPU temps in the taskbar.
