Here is the offical website with the announcement. I have used MBM exclusively for a very long time. This is quite sad news for me. But rather than make this post just some sad news, I thought some of you could share some promising alternatives. My version of MBM is some versions behind, but when the time to update is here, it would be nice to have some ideas in mind.
 
Sad to see them go, indeed.

Something that I use, while not precisely MBM, is iarsn's taskinfo. It can read many of the details that MBM does. Also, many mobo manufacturers are producing their own, watered down equivalents which are worth at least a glance.

Much of what you might want to use depends on what you actually use MBM for?
