medal of honor pacific assault video problem

Hello all, looks like this is the spot for help. I bought a used laptop, dell latitude C840 2.4 ghz 512 mem. windows xp pro, nvidia4 440 64m graphics card, im trying to play medal of honor pacific assault but it keeps telling me that my card does not suppot directx 8.1, looking at the specs of my computer i have it? any help. Thanks
