Medal of Honour Pacific Assault Crashes

Hi there. I have been running MOHPA for a couple of months without any problems at all. Unfortunately, the game now crashes back to the desktop just before it has fully loaded (or probably just as it finishes loading). I have tried an uninstall, reinstall, a system restore and a download of the latest patches but nothing seems to work.
My system details are:
Windows XP
AMD XP 2100+ 1.74 GHz
512 Mb RAM
NVIDIA GEFORCE FX5200

Any ideas why this might be happening?
