Memory error

im installed the Need For Speed prostreet.
but getting a problem when start the game. Im getting a memory read error exactly like this.

'the instruction at "0x00630522" referenced memory at "0x04d92670". the memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program'

If you can get up and running, download and run the free Memtest86 and run it for fourhours or seven passes.
If not, replace the memory module for a test.

how do i use memtest.
but im having enough RAM about 512 Mb

as you are booting up it should have it as an option if you hit ESC or F2

when i open the game nothing is coming, that nfs.exe window becomes small
and it displayes the error msg
