Memory for eMachines

  1. My friend has an eMachines T3256 which comes with stock 512MB DDR-400 (PC2700) RAM. He wants to upgrade to 1GB. Do you have any suggestions for what kind of RAM he should get?

    According to www.crucial.com it can only take pc2700 to a maximum of 2 gig!!!!

    Don't buy it from crucial, they are expensive, i just use their database for reference!!!!

    I have already figured that out from experience, $60 for DDR2 800 Ram @ 256MB!
