    i have a 512 memory slot on ram slot 1 and ram slot 3 does this change or effect ne thing? there are 3 ram slots on the mobo total

    I don't think that motherboard runs on dual channel, so it shouldn't matter. Just as long as one of the sticks is in the blue one, I think the other one could go anywhere...

    Interesting question..Are you having some sort of problem with the array ? I know a buddy of mine has the same board and it wouldnt power up with the a dimm in Slot 1....switched it over to slot 3 and it booted......bad dimm slot in that incident i believe.....whats your reason for asking ?
