I am new and not sure which board to post this question so here goes. I have a emachine T6420 that had a hard drive crash. I replaced the drive with another seagate hard drive. I replaced the cables with the new ones that came with the drive. It is an ATA drive. Now I get a message upon startup. It says:
    No drive found.

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this. Emachine Tech Spt was worthless.

Do I need to flash the BIOS or what. How do I get into the bios setup on this emachine?

read the FAQs in the cpu forum on emachines.
