Mic problems

hello,

i have just recently bought a new headset ( steelsound 5h) seemed to me like a pretty good headset. i play games and while on teamspeak ( comms program) others complain that they can hear my sound more than my actual voice. its like the mic is working the wrong way round :s im sure its some setting thats wrong rather than the headset.

please help me asap!
