Microsoft has finally ended support for Windows XP

Wormvet says: A pity that XP has died. It was the most stable of the OS of the Windows group and I find Win 7 rather difficult to master and quite unstable. I am a home user and really don't need all the new rubbish that comes with Win 7

You know, I have XP on a going on ten year old eMachine, and it's never actually blue screened. I got "NTDLR is missing", but that was right before a well earned reformat.

So, "right on:, to you and XP".

Windows 7 can be a bit moody. Sometimes it will let you into your files, and sometimes it won't....:D And sometimes you have to blow a little sunshine up its bum, and swear you're an, "administrator"....;)

One primary fault in the XP version is the lack of concern for the Admin account.
It defaults to no password, is known by everyone and thus easily attack to gain access to the system.

To close this door, there are some minimal steps you should take.
